What drives them to do either is barely unearthed over the first four episodes, and the fleeting bits of commentary about a new generation’s altruistic approach to banking gets overwhelmed by prevalent dense financial jargon. Fast-forward a few years and the beginning of 2023 brings “Kaleidoscope,” a show that offers the same promise of TV-watching freedom, this time revolving around a massive ten-figure vault heist. Each episode is color-coded, offering any audience member a time-fragmented look at the lead-up to and the aftermath of the planned robbery. Chapters range from a 24-year flashback all the way to a “where are they now?” look set six months after the heist....

Created by Simon Rich, previously known for the FXX series “Man Seeking Woman,” “Miracle Workers” is a comedy anthology series, with each season telling a new story with the same cast playing different characters. Along with Radcliffe, each season features Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass in the main cast. Season 1 was set in the modern day, focusing on a pair of angels attempting to avert Earth’s destruction, while Seasons 2 and 3 were period pieces set in the English Dark Ages and the American Oregon Trail, respectively....

Steve Martin plays former ’80s star Charles Haden-Church, best known for playing Detective Brazzos in a TV cop procedural, during “Only Murders in the Building.” Now, the Hulu series released a tongue-in-cheek cartoon music video for Haden-Church’s fictional hit song, “Angel in Flip Flops.” Featured in Episode 4 of the second season, Haden-Church (Martin) explains that he bonded with his ex-girlfriend’s daughter Lucy (Zoe Colletti) while singing the “pitta patta, pitta patta” chorus of his 1989 summer track....

On some level, the identities of Sauron and Stranger were going to consume everything else in this season finale like a supernova....
