Black Friday is a great time to save big on that new TV you’ve been eyeing for months, and a perfect opportunity to get discounts on streaming subscriptions. Hulu is already among the cheaper streaming options out there, but the price is dropping even further thanks to the annual Black Friday deal announced on “Good Morning America.” From now until November 29, new and eligible returning subscribers (who have not been subscribed to the service in the past month) can join Hulu’s ad-supported tier for just $0.99 a month for a year. The ad-supported tier will cost $6.99 a month after the first year. This special offer cannot be combined with any free trial of Hulu’s ad-supported plan, or other promotional offers and pricing.

You’re probably already familiar with Hulu, but on the off chance that you haven’t heard of the streaming network, it’s a great cable-cutting option for TV lovers. From past and current seasons of TV shows to new episodes the day after they air and classic favorites, Hulu has a little something for every kind of viewer. You’ll find dozens of acclaimed series from FX including the “American Horror Story” franchise along with episodes of “La Brea,” “The Bachelor,” “Queens,” “The Goldbergs,” and more. With up to six user profiles per subscription, the whole family can enjoy specially-curated content on Hulu. The subscription allows you to watch on two different screens simultaneously, and, like other streaming platforms, Hulu takes you beyond TV. Simply download the Hulu app to watch from your laptop, smartphone, tablet, and other compatible devices such as Xbox consoles. NBC’s upcoming “Annie Live!,” starring Celina Smith, Taraji P. Henson, Harry Connick Jr., Titus Burgess, Megan Hilty, and Nicole Scherzinger, will air on Hulu December 3 (one day after its network premiere). ABC‘s live adaptations of “The Facts of Life” and “Diff’rent Strokes” (the latter of which stars Kevin Hart, Jon Lithgow and Damon Wayans), will be available on Hulu December 8. Besides old and current shows, TV specials, movies, documentaries, and reality series from other networks, you’ll also find tons of Hulu Originals including “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Nine Perfect Strangers,” “Only Murders in the Building,” “Hit-Monkey,” “Solar Opposites,” “Dopesick,” “Vacation Friends,” “No Fue Mi Culpa,” “Little Fires Everywhere” and “The Curse of Von Dutch.” Hulu also offers a wide selection of shows for younger audiences such as “The Croods: Family Tree,” “Animaniacs,” “The Hardy Boys,” “Trolls: TrollsTopia,” and “Utopia Falls.”

And there are even more Hulu Originals on the way with “Madagascar: A Little Wild Holiday Goose Chase” premiering November 26, “Candified: Home for the Holidays” arriving December 1, and new episodes of “Pen15” and “Crossing Swords,” which will premiere December 3 and December 10, respectively.
